Just like you, I wear many hats.

On the personal side, I’m originally from Mississippi. I graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting degree from Mississippi State University and moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, in 2006. I earned my MBA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and have since called Fairbanks home. I have a strong desire to travel.

With all of my immediate family still being in the South, I am able to fulfill some of my wanderlust desire. I also thoroughly enjoy experiencing new cities, states, and countries. In Fairbanks, I have been able to build a residential and commercial rental property portfolio.

In addition to local clients that have become great friends, I also am lucky to be a dog mom to Louie, who keeps me on my toes. Being a 100-pound baby, he loves to be the center of attention and affection, even as I try to partake in some of my favorite hobbies – reading being top of the list.

On the professional side, I am a CPA. I also have earned the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Certified Tax Coach (CTC) credentials. I was an Adjunct Instructor for the UAF Community and Technical College from 2008 to 2019, where I developed and taught various accounting courses. I have graduated from numerous leadership academies, both locally and nationally, including the AICPA Leadership Academy, the AKCPA Leadership Academy, Inspire Leadership Academy, and Leadership Fairbanks.

I have published numerous articles regarding tax law and business development, both locally and nationally. I have had the honor of being recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 by the CPA Practice Advisor magazine for four years. Additionally, I have served on numerous local boards and have been appointed to serve on several local, state, and national committees representing the accounting industry.

As a result of working with my clients, I have been honored to be asked to speak at local and national conventions, and therefore have developed an expertise that will be incredibly beneficial in helping you and your business grow and succeed!
